Sr DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Salary: $91,000–$253,700 annual base pay

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using EKS, ECS, API Gateway, and related services.
• Automate deployment processes with Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting.
• Implement monitoring and alerting to support application availability and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate and deploy applications on AWS.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues while maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply security, scalability, cost-optimization, and documentation best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker, EKS, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform, monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana, and configuration management tools such as Packer or Ansible.
• Knowledge of relational databases, including SQL or PostgreSQL, and at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Linux operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
