Systems Engineer (DevSecOps)

What you will do

• Operate, harden, and evolve Linux and macOS/iOS environments, AWS infrastructure, Cloudflare edge services, and containerized workloads.
• Architect and administer DevSecOps capabilities including CI/CD, secrets management, identity and access management, and security guardrails.
• Build and maintain Terraform-first infrastructure across multi-account AWS environments, segmented networks, and cloud-native services.
• Own resilience engineering, including backups, disaster recovery, recovery testing, observability, and incident response.
• Automate operational processes with shell and Python, reducing manual administration and click-ops.
• Work with software engineers and AI tooling to improve delivery workflows and support AI workloads.

Requirements

• At least eight years of professional experience building and operating production systems.
• Deep production experience with Linux, macOS, AWS, containers, infrastructure as code, and isolated or segmented environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare DNS, CDN, and Zero Trust; AWS ECS/EC2, IAM, S3, networking, and governance; and Terraform.
• Experience with Entra ID, Intune, Aurora, Iceberg/S3 tables, analytical and graph databases, caches, GitHub Enterprise, and GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of security practices including least-privilege IAM, federated identity, secrets rotation, ephemeral credentials, secret scanning, and artifact integrity.
• Fluent scripting skills in Bash or Zsh and Python, with practical experience diagnosing databases and production incidents.
