Employment Legal Counsel (Employment Law)

What you will do

• Advise on employment matters including recruitment, hiring, restrictive covenants, training, performance management, separations, and occupational health and safety.
• Monitor employment law and regulatory developments in Ireland and Europe and coordinate timely responses with internal stakeholders.
• Draft and update workplace policies, handbooks, employment contracts, and related documentation.
• Develop and deliver employment law training.
• Manage external counsel relationships and collaborate with the legal and HR teams.
• Lead internal process reviews and participate in internal investigations.

Requirements

• Current practicing certificate in Ireland or the UK.
• 5+ years of post-admission legal experience, ideally including experience at a top-tier law firm.
• Deep knowledge of employment law in Ireland and the ability to work across different legal jurisdictions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Confidence working with business partners, taking initiative, and driving projects to completion.
