What you will do

• Design and develop control architectures for advanced semiconductor equipment.
• Integrate motion-control systems, sensors, drives, actuators, and safety mechanisms into complex machine platforms.
• Lead system bring-up, debugging, performance optimization, and validation.
• Define subsystem requirements, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Investigate technical issues using structured root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in control systems, automation, motion control, or complex electromechanical products.
• Experience with motors, drives, encoders, sensors, PLCs, and industrial communication networks.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently drive technical work and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment or precision automation systems.
• Knowledge of machine safety, motion-control tuning, and industrial automation architectures.
• Familiarity with EtherCAT, CAN, ProfiNet, Modbus, or similar protocols.
• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, TwinCAT, Python, C#, or equivalent engineering tools.
