Floating Universal Banker (Banking)

Location: Northeast St Petersburg, St Petersburg, Florida, United States. Work requires in-person financial center coverage, including weekends, some evenings, and travel if needed.

What you will do

• Build, manage, and retain client and prospect relationships through in-person meetings, phone calls, business visits, and educational seminars.
• Assess financial needs and recommend tailored banking products and solutions through a consultative sales approach.
• Educate clients on mobile, online, ATM, and other self-service banking options.
• Process routine and complex transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Refer clients to specialized banking partners and develop sales opportunities through community and ecosystem relationships.
• Manage lobby interactions, support operational safety, and apply sound risk-management decisions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least one year of professional sales and client service experience, with banking experience highly preferred; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree plus cash-handling and customer-service experience.
• Ability to build and expand client relationships, learn multiple banking systems, and use search tools to find information.
• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008 is required.
• Employment is contingent on meeting initial and ongoing registration requirements and passing an acceptable background investigation.
• Strong communication, organization, follow-up, collaboration, problem-solving, and ability to follow policies and regulatory requirements.
