Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Hybrid in New York City, with at least three days per week in the NYC office

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and ship full-stack features that improve patient experience and support personalized care delivery.
• Develop event-driven systems, AI-powered health guidance tools, and integrations with healthcare systems.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, clinical, and data teams to deliver solutions aligned with user needs.
• Monitor, debug, and incrementally improve the reliability and performance of production systems.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience building and shipping production applications.
• Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar modern languages.
• Full-stack development experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js and backend services.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SQL and/or NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and willingness to learn new technologies and domains.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, or stream processing.
• Exposure to healthcare technology, HIPAA compliance, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Next.js, TypeScript, or AWS services.
• Startup or fast-paced environment experience.
