Manager II, Operations Management - (M2) 2nd Shift

Location: Austin, TX; onsite second-shift production environment

Salary: $68,000–$93,500 per year

What you will do

• Supervise employees performing assembly, inspection, testing, final testing, and related manufacturing operations.
• Prioritize production schedules based on staffing, equipment efficiency, capacity, and material requirements.
• Track operational performance metrics, conduct milestone meetings, and improve cycle-time performance.
• Resolve operations issues affecting customer satisfaction and coordinate customer, vendor, and supplier requirements.
• Analyze cost-of-quality opportunities, initiate corrective actions, and drive Lean, safety, and quality improvements.
• Develop employees through training, coaching, performance management, hiring, rewards, and disciplinary processes.

Requirements

• Understanding and application of procedures and concepts within the relevant job family, with basic knowledge of related areas.
• Formal supervisory experience, including setting priorities and coaching employees to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems using judgment.
• Ability to work standing for extended periods, walk, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, and lift; use of hand and power tools may be required.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in noisy, tight, and potentially clean-room environments.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including coveralls, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
