Engineering Technician II (T2) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Salary: $21.50–$29.20 per hour

What you will do

• Test, troubleshoot, assemble, modify, fabricate, and validate electronic and electromechanical systems, prototypes, tools, and test fixtures.
• Diagnose system- and component-level issues in electrical and mechanical subsystems.
• Perform new system installations, NPI activities, field upgrades, and testing on semiconductor manufacturing platforms.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and technical descriptions.
• Compile logbooks, test procedures, quality notifications, and other engineering and manufacturing documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and support a clean, secure, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical work-area problems using established procedures and scientific methods.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, climb, work in tight spaces, and lift as required.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in environments with potentially difficult noise levels.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment in cleanroom environments, including coveralls, gloves, respirators, and face shields.
