Location: Bloomington, Minnesota, USA; onsite work in a semiconductor manufacturing facility and clean room. B Shift: 5:45 pm–6:15 am on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday. The position may require U.S. citizenship or permanent residency in the future depending on federal requirements.
Compensation: $28.00–$34.00 per hour, plus applicable shift differentials.

manufactures automotive-grade semiconductors and is expanding its foundry capacity and advanced BCD and wide-bandgap technologies, including GaN.
What you will do
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on 200mm semiconductor production equipment and systems.
- Monitor tool performance and troubleshoot equipment issues using mechanical, electrical, electronic, and computer skills.
- Document maintenance activities and complete preventive-maintenance checklists and procedures.
- Assist with equipment installations, testing, and the review and editing of equipment procedures.
- Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to improve procedures, reduce downtime, and increase equipment availability.
- Work safely in hazardous environments with required personal protective equipment and participate in the Emergency Response Team.
Requirements
- Proficiency in electrical circuits, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of test and calibration equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
- PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic problems, identify root causes, use common hand tools, follow procedures, and work with minimal supervision.
- Associate’s degree in electronics, mechatronics, automation, or a related mechanical field; equivalent military training or 24+ months of vacuum or semiconductor equipment maintenance experience is also accepted.
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including SCBA or a respirator when necessary.
Nice to have
- Experience with vacuum or semiconductor manufacturing equipment such as PECVD, RTA, or RTP.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and prioritization skills.
