Process Engineering Tech II (PCB Manufacturing): Providing technical support for PCB manufacturing and production operations with an accent on equipment troubleshooting, process improvement, yield improvement, and preventive maintenance. Focus on running process experiments, analyzing production data, validating equipment installations, resolving manufacturing issues, and supporting ITAR-controlled production requirements.
Location: Onsite at 5823 Widewaters Parkway, East Syracuse, NY, United States. Work hours are 6:00 AM–3:30 PM.
Salary: $49,557–$78,331 per year. An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply, and alternative shifts may include a shift premium.

What you will do
- Troubleshoot production issues across manufacturing areas, including equipment, electrical, mechanical, setup, and material review activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, mistake proofing, and value stream improvements.
- Assist with equipment installation, removal, layout, facilities planning, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and startup validation.
- Run experiments, prepare basic test plans, analyze data, and document results under process engineering guidance.
- Review mechanical and electrical drawings, maintain technical procedures, and keep production information accurate.
- Train production personnel and coordinate with manufacturing, design engineering, project engineering, facilities, supervisors, and equipment suppliers.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of 24V DC circuits, and excellent mechanical aptitude for sophisticated automation.
- Ability to work with computerized manufacturing equipment and Windows-based software, including Word, Excel, and Project.
- Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently.
- ITAR and export-control compliance is required; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.
