Assembly & Test Technician II (Semiconductor)

Location: Livermore, California; onsite, full-time. Regular schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Salary: $22.10–$29.03 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Perform intermediate-level mechanical assembly of stiffeners, PCBAs, interposers, hardware, and related electronic components.
• Use hand tools, torque devices, microscopes, digital meters, dial indicators, and other precision measurement equipment.
• Set up tester equipment, conduct electrical testing, investigate test failures, and troubleshoot components using resistance, capacitance, and voltage measurements.
• Inspect micro-components and adjust probe cards to achieve correct array planarity and alignment.
• Analyze Statistical Process Control metrics and accurately record test results, measurements, and production data.
• Support shift-based production, engineering experiments, evaluation builds, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of related technician or operative experience.
• Experience with mechanical assemblies, electrical schematics, electronic circuitry, mechanical drawings, and metrology equipment.
• Ability to follow work instructions, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and special test procedures.
• Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, data-entry ability, and capacity to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and follow safety, ESD, quality, and contamination-control requirements.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull light materials as needed.
