Associate, Insurance Product and Emerging Product Innovation

Location: Remote (work-from-home); must reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, TX, or VA (state list may change). #LI-Remote

Salary: $106,812–$140,190 per year (base pay) in New Jersey, New York, and California; $96,130–$126,171 per year in all other listed locations.

What you will do

• Support development and execution of product and emerging solution initiatives across Oscar’s insurance product portfolio.
• Analyze market research, competitive data, and performance assessments to inform product strategy recommendations and growth opportunities.
• Support business case development and product recommendations in partnership with actuarial, finance, market leadership, and marketing.
• Assist with product lifecycle activities including launch readiness, post-launch monitoring, optimization, and remediation tracking.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs across product, regulatory, actuarial, compliance, operations, and growth teams to ensure alignment and execution.
• Track timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across concurrent workstreams and prepare materials for leadership and governance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in product, analytics, strategy, consulting, or insurance-related roles.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to navigate ambiguity and support execution.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with ACA marketplace, Individual and Family Plan (IFP), and small group sponsored insurance products.
• Familiarity with QHP product filing processes and healthcare regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting product lifecycle initiatives, product launches, or operational implementation.
• Exposure to member engagement, rewards, wellness, or incentive programs.
• MBA/MHA/MPH or other advanced degree.
