Senior Technical Product Manager (AI)

Location: Redwood City, CA (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Direct AI coding agents to build production systems quickly, ensuring system design and ownership.
• Decide on product scope and technical direction across engineering teams.
• Co-own product direction with design and research teams.
• Make trade-offs between speed, reliability, complexity, and extensibility.
• Shape architecture early and own outcomes end to end from framing to deployment.
• Mentor engineers on AI tool usage and eliminate recurring design mistakes.

Requirements

• Location: Redwood City, CA with hybrid work format.
• 8+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
• Proven ownership of technical direction and execution on multiple projects.
• Experience making high-stakes technical decisions affecting systems or products.
• Fluency with AI coding tools and shipping real functionality.
• Strong technical depth in system design, distributed systems, security, infrastructure, or strong product intuition.

Nice to have

• Personal responsibility for a product with 100k+ users, system serving millions of requests, or popular open-source project.
