What you will do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on metrology equipment including 4-point probe, AFM, CDSEM, and defect inspection tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Monitor wafer fabrication equipment and manage consumable changes to ensure operational success.
• Create detailed maintenance documentation and provide technical training to other personnel.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to satisfy all safety, performance, and reliability requirements.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Austin, Texas.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Minimum 5 years of specific experience in the Metrology/Defect area.
• AS/AAS degree in electronics or industrial engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid understanding of SPC and FDC for improving equipment performance.
• Physical ability to stand for up to 12 hours and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
