Focus on diagnosing complex equipment issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and supporting reliable production on compressed 12-hour shifts.

Location: On-site in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Compressed work week schedule with availability across 12-hour day and night shifts in Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (Fab52/42/32/12).

Annual salary range: $60,450–$116,640 USD for this hourly role.

What you will do

  • Perform wafer production, equipment, process, and training functions within the Thin Films department.
  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Support defect reduction and other Fab production objectives.
  • Use technical manuals, specifications, schematics, drawings, test equipment, and problem-solving methods to diagnose issues.
  • Work with engineering teams to support equipment performance and changing production priorities.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work on-site in Phoenix and support assigned compressed work week shifts.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kg) four times per day and frequently stand, walk, bend, and reach.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with qualifying hands-on, equipment maintenance, technical, trade, or military experience; or an associate degree in a STEM-related field with relevant equipment maintenance experience; or a bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field.
  • Analytical problem-solving, testing, verbal and written communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.

Nice to have

  • Military experience or advanced-node semiconductor manufacturing experience.
  • Thin films, integrated circuit fabrication, or 300mm semiconductor equipment experience.
  • Hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of process control systems and complex schematics or technical diagrams.
  • Experience creating equipment maintenance specifications, procedures, or business processes.
