What you will do

• Maintain internal data systems for historical and forecasted electricity supply, demand, and transmission data.
• Analyze historical transmission and price data using power mapping software.
• Identify geographic patterns in data to support energy forecasting.
• Compare electricity topologies to identify potential divergence between nodal costs and payoffs.
• Use data analysis to improve power-grid modeling and inform business decisions.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Electrical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
• Ability to begin full-time employment by August 2026 or earlier.
• Strong attention to detail, including data entry and mapping.
• Creative problem-solving, intellectual curiosity about electricity markets, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.

Nice to have

• Experience with VBA, SQL, or scripting such as Python.
