Workplace Planner/Strategist

What you will do

• Lead space planning requests across multiple locations from intake through implementation in partnership with Workplace Design.
• Translate occupancy data, business requirements, headcount forecasts, and team adjacencies into test fits, stacking plans, blocking diagrams, and seating layouts.
• Maintain space planning standards, methodologies, drawings, occupancy records, and related documentation across IWMS and CAD platforms.
• Analyze space utilization, density metrics, occupancy trends, and capacity scenarios to recommend business-aligned improvements.
• Support moves, adds, changes, relocations, workplace transformations, and large-scale reconfigurations with clear stakeholder communication.
• Prepare occupancy plans, reports, and presentations while identifying risks, constraints, conflicts, and inefficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in occupancy planning, space planning, or facilities planning within a corporate environment.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD-based space planning tools; AutoCAD is required.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data validation.
• Experience with test fits, stacking plans, occupancy scenarios, space utilization analysis, and IWMS or space management platforms.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, technical judgment, and independent decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Revit or BIM tools.
• Experience with Planon, FM:Systems, Manhattan, Archibus, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting moves, relocations, workplace transformations, or large-scale reconfigurations.
