Design Specialist (Interior Design)

Location: MD - Annapolis, United States. On-site retail role with weekend and holiday availability required, plus in-home consultations and off-site meetings with trade clients as needed.

What you will do

• Deliver personalized design consultations and solutions that meet client needs.
• Build relationships with clients, trade professionals, and the local design community.
• Drive sales and achieve revenue, conversion, and client-retention KPIs.
• Guide clients through product selection, space planning, and styling.
• Manage the client lifecycle using CRM tools and outreach strategies.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and conduct in-home or off-site consultations as needed.

Requirements

• Professional experience in design-focused sales and a passion for modern interiors.
• Experience in retail sales, design consulting, or customer success is preferred.
• Background in interior design, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong client needs assessment, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and design tools such as SketchUp or AutoCAD.
• Ability to lift over 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
