Product Q&R Engineer III

Location: Kalispell, MT, United States. Relocation eligible; travel required up to 20% of the time.

Salary: $96,000–$132,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, apply, revise, maintain, and test product quality and reliability standards aligned with customer expectations.
• Design and implement inspection, testing, and product quality evaluation methods and procedures.
• Develop and implement quality and reliability test plans, perform failure analysis, and conduct FMECA.
• Document CRAMS and collaborate with suppliers and engineers on CRAMS test plans and PQP activities.
• Gather and evaluate operational and test data, prepare testing documentation, and perform reliability modeling and ERAMS.
• Develop project methodologies and proposals, evaluate work methods and policies, and coach teams on quality and reliability processes.

Requirements

• MS degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
• 2–4 years of relevant industry experience.
• Expanded conceptual knowledge in the relevant engineering discipline and the ability to solve straightforward technical problems using experience and judgment.
• Ability to explain complex information and provide informal guidance to new team members.
• Ability to work in Kalispell, Montana, United States; travel up to 20% is required.

Nice to have

• Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification.
