Technical Trainer (Manufacturing)

Location: Arvada, Colorado, United States; on-site

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year plus bonus; restricted stock units included.

What you will do

• Conduct training needs analyses and use Training Within Industry Job Instruction methods to standardize technical training.
• Deliver hands-on instruction in electrical assembly, control panels, low-voltage wiring, terminations, sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, and switchgear integration.
• Create and maintain video tutorials, manuals, practical exercises, training records, certifications, and completion data.
• Assess employee skills through practical tests and certification programs that support career progression and internal mobility.
• Partner with manufacturing managers, department leads, corporate Learning & Development, and corporate teams to align training with factory initiatives.
• Support onboarding, employee development, engagement, and retention across the manufacturing workforce.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with fabrication, electrical assembly, or a related field.
• Proven ability to deliver effective technical training and explain complex electrical and wiring concepts through hands-on learning.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across manufacturing and corporate functions.
• Ability to work on-site in Arvada, Colorado, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with learning management systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, WorkRamp, Lattice, or LinkedIn Learning.
• Training, instructional, or relevant technical certifications.
• Experience with TWI Job Instruction methodology.
