Senior Product Owner (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Own, manage, and continuously prioritize the product backlog in line with business priorities and product objectives.
• Translate business needs and product goals into user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA engineers, Scrum Masters, Engineering Managers, business stakeholders, and product stakeholders.
• Facilitate backlog refinement and participate in Agile planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other ceremonies.
• Manage dependencies, risks, competing priorities, and technical trade-offs across teams.
• Communicate delivery progress, risks, changes, and dependencies while improving product and delivery practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in Agile software development environments.
• Strong experience with backlog management, prioritization, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable work for engineering teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, decision-making, and ownership skills.
• Experience working with distributed or global teams and a strong understanding of Agile principles and the software development lifecycle.
• Advanced English with strong conversational skills and availability to work in a hybrid model in São Paulo, Brazil.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAFe or other scaled Agile environments.
• Experience in payments, financial services, fintech, transactional, regulated, or enterprise-scale products.
• Experience working with multiple squads or managing cross-team dependencies.
