Insurance Agent (Property & Casualty)

Location: Jefferson City, Missouri, or Columbia, Missouri

Salary: Base plus commission; top producers earn $60,000–$75,000 in the first year, $70,000–$85,000 in the second year, and $100,000 or more by year five.

What you will do

• Contact customers within 24 hours to provide insurance quotes, answer questions, and recommend suitable coverage.
• Issue insurance policies and assess customers’ needs for home, auto, and other coverage options.
• Coordinate with Loan Officers, insurance carriers, and Operations teams to maintain policy accuracy and ensure a smooth process.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Communicate with borrowers by phone, email, and other communication tools; business calls may be recorded and reviewed using AI-assisted technology.
• Contribute to a supportive, collaborative team environment and assist wherever needed.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with customers over the phone.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, solve problems, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, reliability, and deadline management.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using internet-based tools.
• Existing Property & Casualty licensing is not required, but readiness to obtain the license upon joining is expected.
