Therapy Program Manager

Location: Columbia, Missouri, United States; onsite presence at the Flourish house is required

Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience and credentials.

What you will do

• Provide one-on-one therapeutic support and facilitate therapy groups, support groups, and healing-centered group experiences.
• Help youth develop coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, conflict resolution, self-advocacy, and healthy relationships.
• Organize life skills programming focused on emotional wellness, decision-making, self-care, independent living, and resilience.
• Coach Youth Specialists on trauma-informed care, de-escalation, crisis response, emotional regulation, professional boundaries, and relationship-based support.
• Coordinate care planning, case consultations, crisis planning, program development, documentation, and collaboration with providers, schools, agencies, families, and community partners.
• Maintain an active presence with youth and staff and contribute to a safe, consistent, and trauma-informed home environment.

Requirements

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor credential required.
• Ability to pass state and federal background screenings.
• Valid Missouri driver’s license required.
• Strong communication, documentation, confidentiality, professional-boundary, ethical-practice, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to remain calm during emotionally intense or crisis-oriented situations and work flexibly in a fast-paced, youth-centered environment.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, adolescent development, crisis response, emotional regulation, and strength-based youth work.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting at-risk, unhoused, housing-insecure, marginalized, foster care-involved, justice-involved, or trauma-impacted youth.
• Experience in residential, shelter, transitional living, school-based, community mental health, or youth services settings.
• Experience coaching direct-care staff, supporting crisis intervention and safety planning, or developing youth life skills and psychoeducational groups.
