FP&A Manager

Location: Bala Cynwyd, Philadelphia Area, Pennsylvania, United States. Yearly travel to international offices may be required.

What you will do

• Own budgeting and forecasting processes, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and longer-term planning capabilities.
• Manage firm-wide cost reporting, cost drivers, expense allocation logic, and auditable methodology documentation.
• Develop return metrics including return on capital and RWA, linking P&L performance to desk and strategy-level resource consumption.
• Build and improve management reporting packages covering budget performance, capital efficiency, and trend analysis.
• Partner with trading, support, Technology, Operations, and global FP&A teams to improve data flows, systems, governance, and decision-making.
• Lead, coach, and help scale the FP&A team, including role definition, hiring support, and onboarding.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in FP&A or a comparable analytical finance role.
• Experience improving FP&A capabilities and developing or refining expense methodologies and cost allocation frameworks.
• Familiarity with return on capital, RWA, and P&L-relative cost metrics in trading or financial services.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with BI or data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to align teams on complex financial topics.
• Ownership mindset and experience driving process improvement and automation.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or a trading environment, especially proprietary trading.
• Experience building or managing a finance team.
