What you will do

• Optimize and maintain an innovative product based on machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Develop solutions in advanced AI areas, including reinforcement learning and Q learning.
• Identify, structure, and solve complex problems with measurable business impact.
• Experiment with new technologies and develop solutions to unique business challenges.
• Coordinate communication among data scientists, lead developers, product management, and business owners, and present technical product concepts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Professional experience with Python, Pandas, NumPy, and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with web frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
• A track record of using machine learning to solve business problems.
• Experience with agile development practices, including TDD/BDD, continuous integration, refactoring, and code reviews.
• Excellent spoken and written English; hybrid work in Berlin is required.

Nice to have

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience with PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Transformers.
• Hands-on experience deploying open-source LLMs, including hosting, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and evaluation.
• Experience with reinforcement learning or AWS cloud infrastructure.
