ML Engineer (AI, German)

Location: Remote, office, or hybrid work available in Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

Salary: EUR 3,045–5,145 gross per month. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Design, train, evaluate, and optimize supervised, unsupervised, NLP, and deep learning models.
• Build scalable data and ML pipelines and prepare training datasets with subject matter experts and analysts.
• Deploy models for batch and real-time inference using AWS SageMaker and production APIs.
• Work with foundation and generative models through AWS Bedrock, including LLM fine-tuning and orchestration.
• Monitor model performance and data quality while improving interpretability, cost, and reliability.
• Document ML workflows and maintain reproducible, versioned MLOps processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong Python skills with practical experience using scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib.
• Understanding of regression, classification, clustering, model validation, performance metrics, preprocessing, feature engineering, and evaluation.
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras, and proven experience with AWS SageMaker.
• Knowledge of SQL, structured and semi-structured data, REST APIs, FastAPI or Flask, Docker, Git, and MLOps practices.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or above and German at Intermediate+ level or above.
