(Senior) Data Science Specialist for Virtual Sensors (Automotive)

Location: Darmstadt, Germany

Salary: €65,000–€75,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and improve virtual sensors with a focus on robustness and accuracy.
• Combine physical understanding with data-driven methods for automotive use cases including tire pressure and tire wear.
• Deploy virtual sensor solutions for series production vehicles.
• Plan and execute testing and validation to verify requirements for series applications.
• Translate research and development results into reliable production software.

Requirements

• Degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in model development.
• Experience with time-series signal processing in the time and frequency domains.
• Experience with modeling and system-based approaches.
• Experience with Matlab and Simulink.
• Solid knowledge of vehicle technology.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of machine learning concepts.
