Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: New York City; full-time, on-site role

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 base salary plus meaningful equity

hirify.global builds AI-powered software for home services, construction, and remodeling operators, including tools for scheduling, appointment management, revenue capture, marketing, and funnel optimization.

What you will do

• Own product design for the hirify.global dashboard from problem framing and customer research through interaction design, high-fidelity UI, production design QA, and iteration.
• Design trustworthy AI-agent experiences that explain decisions, surface supporting evidence, enable review and override, and handle errors clearly.
• Turn conversations, funnels, bookings, and revenue data into clear information design and actionable visualizations.
• Build and mature the design system using the existing shadcn/ui, Radix, Storybook, and Tailwind foundation.
• Partner with product managers and engineers on a Next.js, TypeScript, and React frontend, using Figma and code-based prototypes to validate solutions.
• Shape the marketing site, brand, customer-facing collateral, and foundations for a future design team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience and a portfolio of shipped, complex B2B or SaaS products.
• Strong systems thinking, with comfort working across end-to-end product flows and detailed UI craft.
• Fluency in Figma and experience building and maintaining design systems.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor for functional, code-based prototypes.
• Experience designing data-dense, workflow-heavy products and AI experiences involving uncertainty, explainability, trust, and graceful failure.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and understand React, HTML, and CSS well enough to support implementation and design QA.

Nice to have

• Experience designing human-AI collaboration or agentic workflows for high-stakes decisions.
• Frontend skills with React or Tailwind, or experience shipping directly in an engineering codebase.
• Experience as a first or early design hire or establishing a design function from scratch.
• Experience defining visual identity and brand systems, plus motion, prototyping, or illustration skills.
