Salary: $180,000–$215,000 per year, plus bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Lead discovery through interviews, shadowing, workflow observation, and current- and future-state process mapping.
• Design a unified workspace with prioritized queues, record views, evidence and enrichment panels, dashboards, and history views.
• Design explainable AI interactions that present recommendations, confidence, evidence, uncertainty, and easy-to-use override paths.
• Create interactive prototypes and partner with product and engineering through implementation, launch, and iteration.
• Apply and evolve reusable design-system patterns for high-volume, workflow-heavy enterprise software.
• Help establish research, review, handoff, and collaboration practices as the design function grows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product or UX design experience with shipped complex applications used in day-to-day professional workflows.
• End-to-end ownership of comparable systems, including discovery, prototyping, delivery, and adoption.
• Experience designing data-dense, workflow-heavy interfaces such as queues, dashboards, data visualizations, role-based views, and case or record systems.
• Strong user research, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, prototyping, and design-system skills; proficiency with Figma or equivalent.
• Accessibility fluency with Section 508 and WCAG, plus the ability to collaborate directly with front-end engineers.
• US citizenship and an active US Top Secret clearance with CAC eligibility are required; clearance sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for government, controlled, regulated, or technically complex environments.
• Experience with triage or review queues, explainable AI interfaces, confidence indicators, and human review patterns.
• Front-end fluency in HTML, CSS, or React and experience evolving design systems.
• Experience with formal customer acceptance and fixed-deliverable schedules.
