Technical Recruiter (AI)

Location: On-site in San Jose, Santana Row

Salary: $100,000–$220,000 per year plus significant equity

What you will do

• Own full-cycle technical recruiting from sourcing through offers.
• Partner with hiring managers and advocate for candidate and company needs.
• Source exceptional candidates through GitHub repositories, arXiv authors, Apache mailing lists, and technical discussions.
• Facilitate structured interview loops, track candidate performance, and lead debriefs with hiring managers and leadership.
• Manage offers and closing processes in collaboration with hiring managers and the CEO.
• Improve recruiting systems, workflows, and candidate experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience recruiting technical talent in highly competitive markets.
• Ability to evaluate technical depth and cultural fit with nuance and clarity.
• Resourcefulness in finding exceptional candidates beyond standard recruiting platforms.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguity and build systems from scratch.
• Strong focus on candidate experience and operational excellence.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI, semiconductor, or hardware engineering talent markets.
• Experience hiring engineers in niche or emerging fields.
