What you will do

• Own commodity strategies, supplier landscapes, multi-year sourcing roadmaps, supplier selection, qualification, and contracting.
• Drive cost performance through should-costing, Cost Apportionment Models, Best BoM assessments, and cost-reduction roadmaps.
• Lead end-to-end NPI supply chain programs covering scope, schedules, dependencies, milestones, risks, issues, and stakeholder governance.
• Manage supply readiness, capacity planning, ramp governance, shortage mitigation, lifecycle management, and high-volume manufacturing readiness.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across engineering, sourcing, operations, finance, quality, legal, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
• Translate strategy into workstreams, KPIs, executive updates, benefits realization, and measurable operational outcomes.

Requirements

• BA/BS in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field; MS/MBA is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, program management, consulting, and/or supply chain, preferably in semiconductors.
• Experience with NPI-to-HVM ramps, semiconductor supply chains, supplier qualification, scorecards, QBRs, corrective actions, and manufacturing logistics fundamentals.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, Power Query, and Power Pivot, plus strong PowerPoint communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, influence without authority, solve complex problems, negotiate with stakeholders, and lead cross-functional programs.
• Must work from the Santa Clara, CA location; travel of approximately 10% is required.

Nice to have

• Commodity experience with optical, motion, temperature, pressure, or process sensors.
• Experience with solid-state batteries, cell chemistry, and qualification.
• PCBA experience, including CM/EMS engagement, BoM management, component sourcing, and HVM ramp.
• Experience with Lean, Kaizen, standard work, and process optimization.
