Senior Manager Finance and Compliance

Location: New York City, onsite at least 3x/week (Flatiron)

$200K – $240K per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own and continuously sharpen the financial model including revenue, ARR, burn, runway, unit economics, and scenario planning
• Refine budgeting, forecasting, board and investor reporting, and monthly business reviews to influence leadership decisions
• Turn financial analysis into actionable recommendations on pricing, hiring, and spend trade-offs
• Manage monthly close, outsourced accounting partners, and ensure audit-ready financials
• Own cash management including AR/AP, collections, billing accuracy, treasury, and cash-flow visibility
• Lead compliance programs (SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, GDPR) and vendor risk management to enable enterprise sales
• Partner with Engineering on risk controls and implement scalable finance tooling and automation

Requirements

• Must be based in New York City and work onsite at least 3 days per week
• Does not sponsor H1B visas
• Senior-level experience in strategic finance, FP&A, accounting/close, and compliance in high-growth startups
• Hands-on experience owning compliance as a revenue enabler, including SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR
• Strong detail orientation balanced with outcome focus and ability to influence leadership decisions
• Excellent communication skills to translate financial complexity for non-finance leaders
