Senior Network Engineer

Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong; onsite

What you will do

• Design, implement, optimize, and support network infrastructure for trading-related businesses in the Asia Pacific region.
• Recommend improvements to reduce latency, increase throughput, and improve redundancy.
• Define and implement internal standards for voice, data, and video infrastructure.
• Analyze traffic trends and identify proactive solutions to potential network bottlenecks.
• Research and test hardware and software while collaborating with infrastructure, project management, and strategy development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline.
• At least five years of network engineering and/or network design experience.
• Proficiency with Arista and/or Cisco hardware and software.
• Proficiency with EIGRP, BGP, and multicast routing.
• Experience with IOS, NX-OS, EOS, packet-level analysis, and network monitoring tools such as Nagios or SevOne.

Nice to have

• Scripting and automation experience with Perl, Python, XML, or a similar language.
