SPG SmartStart Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Singapore, Singapore. International travel to customer sites is required for approximately 10% of the time. Flexible working hours may be needed to collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain assembly methods, operating sequences, and start-up processes for semiconductor equipment.
• Lead field digitalized start-up procedures for Tier 0 and Tier 1 operations, including iOMS, OMS, DOC, and emerging 3D documentation.
• Manage bill of materials integrity across SHPK, MERG, ship-along, SRD, and other configuration sources.
• Drive automation, process improvements, and work-process optimization to reduce production, delivery, and start-up cycle times.
• Review field nonconformances, perform root-cause analysis, and develop corrective actions with relevant teams.
• Coordinate technical issues, engineering changes, new technologies, continuous improvement projects, and product-instruction releases across business units.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least four years of experience working with semiconductor equipment in manufacturing or technical field service.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor process equipment; familiarity with MDP, EPI, ALD, or CMP is advantageous.
• Understanding of mechanical, digitalization, and automation concepts, technical drawings and schematics, bill of materials structures, assembly processes, and procedure documentation.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, CAM tools such as NX, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, independent-work, and accountability skills.
