Physical Security Technologist - CCure 9000 Specialist (CCure 9000)

Location: Austin, Texas or Santa Clara, California, United States. Travel between office and campus locations is required, including approximately 20% travel and on-call or after-hours maintenance activities. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $116,000–$159,500 per year

What you will do

• Administer, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Software House CCure 9000 access control systems.
• Manage cardholder databases, access levels, schedules, clearances, badge lifecycles, and visitor access workflows.
• Integrate access control with video management, intrusion detection, visitor management, alarm monitoring, and automated response systems.
• Investigate incidents and outages, produce access-event reports, perform audits, and maintain operational documentation.
• Support network connectivity, servers, cybersecurity requirements, software upgrades, patches, firmware, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Coordinate installations, commissioning, acceptance testing, and turnover for construction, renovation, and security enhancement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Security Systems, Engineering, Criminal Justice, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise physical security systems.
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Software House CCure 9000.
• Strong understanding of access control systems, security hardware and field devices, IP networking fundamentals, and physical security operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level security environments.
• Ability to lift and handle physical security equipment up to 40 lbs and work with Security Operations, Facilities, IT, and construction teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with iSTAR controllers, C•CURE Client and Monitoring Station, Victor, Genetec Security Center, LenelS2 OnGuard, or Milestone XProtect.
• Experience in highly regulated or critical infrastructure environments.
• Identity management and logical/physical access integration experience.
• Project management or system implementation experience.
• CCure 9000, PSP, CPP, SIA, Network+, CCNA, or PMP certifications.
