Physical Security Systems Technician (CCTV/Access Control)

Location: Finland; willingness to travel within Europe is required.

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and replace CCTV and access control hardware, including cameras, NVRs/DVRs, VMS components, readers, controllers, and cabling components.
• Troubleshoot physical security systems across network, hardware, and software components.
• Execute system testing and develop and run Site Acceptance Testing procedures for new deployments.
• Validate performance, coverage, failover scenarios, and compliance with technical designs and internal security standards.
• Produce technical documentation, device inventories, network diagrams, SAT reports, test cases, and validation checklists.
• Support upgrades, migrations, new site rollouts, vendors, integrators, and on-site or remote operations across European locations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with physical security systems, including CCTV and access control.
• Experience installing and configuring cameras and access control hardware, as well as system testing or commissioning.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation, reports, test cases, and validation checklists.
• Basic knowledge of IP addressing, VLANs, PoE, and Linux logs, services, and troubleshooting.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills, good communication, and the ability to work independently.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in Finland and provide proof of employment eligibility.

Nice to have

• Experience with VMS platforms and access control systems.
• Experience in data center or enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of low-voltage cabling standards.
• Familiarity with SAT, UAT, commissioning, or other structured testing methodologies.
