PVD/CVD/ALD Supplier Engineer III Senior

Salary: $110,500.00–$152,000.00 per year

What you will do

• Work with New Product Development teams to clarify engineering drawing requirements and communicate expectations to suppliers.
• Involve suppliers in New Product Introduction specification development and reviews to support design for manufacturability.
• Support supplier selection and develop a supply base focused on quality, cost, delivery, and technology.
• Conduct supplier technical audits, evaluate capability and performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Resolve quality problems and manage incidents through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Evaluate product requirements, recommend qualified materials and sources, monitor cost drivers, and source new technologies.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience with thin-film processes including PVD, CVD, and ALD.
• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Ability to solve complex problems using information from multiple sources.
• Ability to explain difficult information and build consensus across teams.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
• Relocation is not eligible for this position.
