Professional Services Consultant (Payroll) - Bougainville – Papua New Guinea (PNG)

Location: On-site in Bougainville, Papua New Guinea; relocation and travel are required. The role is listed under the APAC department with an office location in Manila, Philippines.

What you will do

• Implement, deploy, configure, and demonstrate hirify.global Accountability Suite software for government clients.
• Review public-sector legislation, policies, accounting operations, and reporting requirements, then translate them into system and configuration designs.
• Lead requirements reviews, acceptance test planning, testing, and delivery of quality project deliverables.
• Develop training materials and deliver product, user, and Train-the-Trainer sessions.
• Transfer knowledge on project management, change management, and effective use of the solution.
• Collaborate with Project Management and Product Management on milestones, client feedback, product enhancements, and bid submissions.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Financial Administration, or a related field.
• 10 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in field financial management and 5 years in process optimization.
• Experience implementing and deploying software applications, gathering and documenting requirements, and configuring financial systems.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, public accounting, financial control, and public-sector financial processes.
• Strong analytical, multitasking, client relationship, and communication skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English, willingness to travel, and willingness to relocate and work in Bougainville are required.

Nice to have

• ERP software implementation experience.
• Financial designation such as CMA or CGA.
• Experience with a large national accounting firm or ERP firm.
• ANSI SQL scripts and Jaspersoft iReports or Crystal Reports.
• Additional language skills.
