Sr. Director, PMO: Private Cloud & Flex Solutions (Cloud)

Location: Onsite at an HPE office in Houston, Texas; Fort Collins, Colorado; or Andover, Massachusetts

Salary: $185,000–$370,000 annually in Colorado; $200,000–$400,000 annually in Massachusetts; $176,000–$425,500 annually in Texas. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Lead and optimize PMO governance, operating rhythms, executive reporting, and delivery transparency.
• Manage the lifecycle of private cloud and flex solution products from conception through end-of-life.
• Lead a high-performing team of 25–30 program management professionals and develop a global team culture focused on execution and customer outcomes.
• Partner with engineering, product management, sales, support, and supply chain to align priorities, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks.
• Build executive dashboards, reports, and analytical tools covering project health, risks, and business outcomes.
• Drive process improvements in dependency management, escalation procedures, cross-business-unit coordination, and strategic program execution.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in large-scale technical program management, product or engineering operations, or business operations within complex technology environments.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing managers, senior contributors, or distributed teams.
• Experience running or transforming a PMO in fast-paced, multi-product organizations.
• Expertise in program governance, portfolio prioritization, risk management, dependency resolution, and executive reporting.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and cloud or software delivery practices.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, and related reporting platforms, plus strong executive communication and decision-making skills.
