Engineer, Mechanical (Mechanical Seals)

Location: Kaohsiung, Taiwan; onsite work involving customer plants and sites

What you will do

• Develop mechanical seal designs, select application materials, perform engineering calculations, and determine suitable seal designs for customers.
• Analyze seal and component designs, prepare drawings and specifications, and modify existing products to meet customer requirements.
• Support product transition from development into production, including bills of material and guidance for designers or drafters.
• Perform and monitor mechanical seal testing, investigate failures, and produce technical reports with internal and customer personnel.
• Communicate with customers, sales, company personnel, and vendors to provide technical recommendations and assistance.
• Provide service, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and field-problem resolution at customer plants or sites; create and update master data in SAP.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Candidates without the required qualification may be considered with relevant hands-on experience with rotating equipment.
• Independent, self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work as a team player.
• Good written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Driving license for manual transmission.

• Experience in the refinery and petrochemical market.
