Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure Engineering (Linux), OS Team (Linux)

What you will do

• Build and improve high-performance, secure, low-maintenance, zero-downtime platforms and applications.
• Deploy, scale, and manage the lifecycle of containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and related orchestration platforms.
• Develop best practices and standards for container runtime technology.
• Integrate container runtimes with the broader technology stack and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.
• Implement security controls to protect container runtimes from vulnerabilities and threats.
• Work with quality assurance teams to improve the reliability and efficiency of container runtime solutions.

Requirements

• Deep Linux knowledge and at least 4 years of professional Linux experience.
• Fluency in Rust, Golang, and/or C.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms.
• At least 4 years of PaaS and IaaS experience and 3 years of architecture and design experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, Jenkins, CircleCI, and SonarQube.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Linux kernel.
• Experience with Linux packaging, including Debian and RPM.
