Sr. DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $175,000–$195,000 per year, including base salary and a portion of performance-based variable compensation

What you will do

• Architect and own multi-tenant Azure and AWS infrastructure for high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
• Lead the infrastructure-as-code strategy across environments using Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or equivalent tools.
• Drive cloud cost optimization, performance engineering, observability, and operational reliability.
• Own cloud infrastructure security and partner with compliance teams on SOC2 and StateRamp requirements.
• Lead incident response and post-mortems, advise engineering, product, and security teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and platform engineering.
• 3+ years operating Kubernetes at scale in production on public cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Experience designing and managing AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure for SaaS applications, including managed Kubernetes, databases, networking, and RBAC.
• Production expertise with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, cloud security, encryption, IAM/RBAC, and network security architecture.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Ruby, plus experience with AI-driven developer tooling, GitOps frameworks, and regulated environments.
