What you will do
- Perform preventative maintenance on injection molds and high-volume stamping dies according to established standards.
- Carry out welding, grinding, machining, fabrication, finishing, assembly, tuning, and die modifications.
- Support line tryouts and line calls, and perform emergency repairs when issues arise.
- Operate cranes and maintain daily records of die work, issues, activities, and progress.
- Collaborate in a team setting and occasionally travel to support off-site activities at NAMCs and affiliates.
Requirements
- Two-year associate degree in a related field plus one year of industrial maintenance experience, or three years of industrial maintenance or military experience.
- Experience building or maintaining high-volume stamping dies, including welding, spotting, and hand-finishing skills.
- Knowledge of cutting and forming sheet-metal stamping operations.
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Technical knowledge of tool and die work, welding, and machining.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration support or visa sponsorship. Available to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
