Production Engineer (Oracle/Snowflake/Python)

Location: Plano, Texas, United States. Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future employer visa or immigration sponsorship.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for production support and manage tickets across business units.
• Triage incidents, troubleshoot enterprise web applications, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Perform root cause analysis, identify recurring problems, and implement long-term fixes and automation.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize production data pipelines and workflows using Oracle and Snowflake.
• Monitor system, database, query, and resource performance and address potential production issues proactively.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, developers, DevOps, and Major Incident Management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience troubleshooting enterprise web applications and writing advanced SQL and PL/SQL queries and stored procedures.
• 4+ years of experience with Snowflake and Oracle databases, including data pipelines, warehouse monitoring, table locks, and load history.
• 3+ years of experience with Python automation, orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Prefect, cloud platforms, and database monitoring.
• Experience with production incident resolution, security controls including role-based access control, data masking and encryption, and CI/CD integration.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Splunk, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of networking, security principles, and Agile or Lean methodologies.
• Experience analyzing and documenting complex business processes.
