Database Operations Engineer (Oracle/PostgreSQL): Managing and evolving production databases that power Planview's products with an accent on Oracle administration, AWS infrastructure, and database availability. Focus on performance tuning, backup and disaster recovery readiness, and planning Oracle-to-PostgreSQL workload migrations.

What you will do
- Manage, maintain, optimize, install, configure, upgrade, and monitor Oracle production databases.
- Ensure database availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and databases running in AWS.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement SQL and database tuning improvements.
- Collaborate with development teams on SQL optimization and database best practices.
- Plan and execute selected workload migrations from Oracle to PostgreSQL while maintaining automation, documentation, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA.
- Knowledge of performance tuning, SQL tuning, backup and recovery, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and cloud-based database environments.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or strong interest in Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
