Senior Accounting Analyst

What you will do

• Analyze, prepare, and record monthly and quarterly payables journal entries.
• Support month-end close, general ledger accuracy, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Prepare documentation for SOX internal controls and respond to control-related requests.
• Provide general ledger support to manufacturing plants and business divisions.
• Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly and annual financial and SOX audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen controls and accounting efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with accounting principles, financial reporting, consolidation, month-end close, or related processes.
• Experience analyzing financial data, performing reconciliations, and identifying and reporting issues accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, deadline management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without requiring current or future visa or work authorization sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting concepts.
• Consolidation or intercompany accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP S4 HANA.
• Prior experience performing flux analysis.
