Financial Analyst (Accounting)

What you will do

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close procedures.
• Review account reconciliations, analyze P&L and balance sheet accounts, and establish judgmental reserve balances.
• Record and review financial transactions in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Analyze trends, identify accounting issues, and provide financial insights to business leaders.
• Partner with departments across hirify.global to implement financial analysis tools and procedures.
• Support remediation of internal control and audit gaps and contribute to special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 3 years of accounting or financial analysis experience, or completion of the two-year Finance & Accounting Development Program plus one year of outside work experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and thorough knowledge of GAAP, including complex transactions and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Hyperion Planner, and SAP.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent deadlines and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Work authorization sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• CPA, MBA, or another advanced degree.
