PDC(VeritySEM) Process Support Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Icheon-Godam, South Korea; on-site customer support and installations required

What you will do

• Provide customer support through on-site installations, system diagnosis, service, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced processes for semiconductor chip manufacturing.
• Design hypothesis experiments and design of experiments, analyze results using statistics, and prepare technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex process and equipment problems, perform root cause analyses, and resolve customer product issues.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to achieve project goals and build trusted relationships.
• Apply knowledge of company processes and customer requirements to analyze problems and develop solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication or equipment industry.
• Communication proficiency in English is required.
• Willingness to provide on-site customer support and perform equipment installations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
• Experience with chemical vapor deposition, atomic layer deposition, plasma reactive ion etch, physical vapor deposition, anneal, or implant technologies.
