Senior Engineer – Data

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $126,090–$215,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and improve data applications with minimal direction.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in Agile environments including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Participate in design sessions, code reviews, and solution definition.
• Diagnose and resolve application and infrastructure issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and share engineering best practices across teams.
• Provide occasional 24x7 production support on call.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in data software development, programming languages, and big data technologies.
• At least two years of experience designing and building new and existing data applications.
• At least two years of experience with cloud DevOps concepts, cloud services and architecture, and Azure, AWS, or GCP DevOps operational frameworks.
• At least one year of experience with open-source frameworks, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Angular, or Express.
• Availability for occasional 24x7 production-support on-call duties; background checks and a pre-hire technical screen may apply.
