Guidewire Senior Consultant, Software Engineer (Personal Lines - Product & Pricing) (Guidewire)

Location: United States; hybrid office schedules require two days per week near Columbus, Ohio, Des Moines, Iowa, or Scottsdale, Arizona. Remote consideration is available, and the position may be filled within any of the lower 48 U.S. states.

Salary: $149,000–$262,000 annually; expected starting range: $149,000–$223,000.

What you will do

• Lead engineering work for Personal Lines product and pricing solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Configure and integrate Guidewire applications, including Digital Edge APIs.
• Analyze, develop, test, debug, document, and deploy software across the delivery lifecycle.
• Improve engineering productivity through modern development standards, code reviews, CI/CD, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices.
• Drive technical collaboration, roadmaps, and project execution across agile teams.
• Mentor engineers and troubleshoot complex production and development issues.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration, integration, and Digital Edge APIs.
• At least eight years of analysis and technology experience, with hands-on technical leadership.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, secure coding, cloud environments, containers, and event-driven architecture.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, set technical direction, and lead cross-functional collaboration.
• Employer-sponsored work authorization is not available, and the role does not qualify for the STEM OPT Extension program.

Nice to have

• ACE Certification in Guidewire PolicyCenter 10.0 or above.
• Experience with data and analytics platforms for reporting and business insights.
• Insurance or financial services industry knowledge.
• Familiarity with AI, ML, and Generative AI capabilities.
